Randy received his Commerce and Law degrees from the University of Saskatchewan and practiced as a lawyer until his retirement in 2012.

As one of the founding members and current Chairperson of the Saskatoon & Area Affiliate Special Care Homes (“SAASCH”) and a long term member of the Provincial Affiliate Resource Group (“PARG”), he has participated for over a decade in various approaches to Health Regions and Government in an effort to obtain better funding for Special Care Homes in the Province. Randy currently sits as the PARG representative and co-chair on a committee with representatives from the Saskatchewan Health Authority  reviewing both operational and capital funding for Special Care Homes and Acute Care facilities.

He is the current Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Oliver Lodge and is a member of the Finance Committee.

Randy has been serving on the board since 2004.
